These terms of service govern your use of the Lounger platform. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to these terms.
1. Our Role as a Platform
Lounger is an online marketplace that connects guests with independent beach operators in Sardinia. We provide the technology to discover beaches, view availability, and make bookings. We do not own or operate any of the listed beaches ourselves.
2. Booking Contract
When you complete a booking, a contract for the beach services is concluded directly between you and the respective beach operator. Lounger acts solely as an intermediary and is not a party to this contract. The operator is responsible for providing the booked spots and services as described.
3. Payments
Payments are processed securely through our payment provider Stripe. The total amount is charged at the time of booking. Payouts to beach operators are handled by the platform.
4. Cancellations
Bookings are final and non-refundable unless the beach operator cancels the booking, for example due to weather conditions or operational reasons. In that case, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
5. Liability
Lounger provides the platform "as is" and, to the extent permitted by law, excludes liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. We are not liable for the performance, quality, or safety of services provided by beach operators. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for intent or gross negligence.
6. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
While Lounger is in pre-launch, no bookings or payments are processed through the platform. The applicable governing law and place of jurisdiction will be specified here before bookings go live, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions in your country of residence.
