Il Poetto è l'amata spiaggia cittadina di Cagliari, che si estende per quasi 8 chilometri lungo il bordo sud-orientale del capoluogo sardo. Sostenuto dalla spettacolare laguna salata di Molentargius, famosa per la sua colonia di fenicotteri, il Poetto offre una miscela unica di comodità urbana e bellezza naturale. La spiaggia è caratterizzata da sabbia fine e bianca e da acque limpide e poco profonde che si approfondiscono gradualmente. Il lungomare dietro la spiaggia è fiancheggiato da bar, ristoranti e beach club, creando una vivace scena sociale che si estende fino alle ore serali. Il Poetto è il cuore pulsante dello stile di vita outdoor cagliaritano. La gente del posto viene qui tutto l'anno per fare jogging, andare in bicicletta e socializzare. Durante l'estate, la spiaggia si trasforma in una destinazione vivace con musica, eventi e il miglior people-watching dell'isola. Indimenticabile la vista sul promontorio della Sella del Diavolo.

Beautiful scene, blue sea coast!😍It was lovely beach coast, nice walk. Can be windy, the water is not warm at all, bit fir me was nice from Ireland :)) Can hire 2sunbeds+umbrella for 24euro. Nice snacks, bats and beers on the beach all along. Friendly ppl. Revommend to visit.

I had a wonderful swim here in the clear water. The beach is 8 km long and is divided into free sections (my choice) and parts where you pay to enter and for sun-loungers, beach umbrellas, etc. I took the bus from the centre, buses PF & PQ get you there in 20 minutes for €1.30 (or €3.30 day ticket).

Poetto is a 8km long beach with easy access by public transport, very nice and clean, calm water, amazing for kids, with restaurants along the beach. I found a small stretch of beach with family atmosphere. It's a great opportunity to enjoy a beach day if you are in Cagliari.

Maybe not the best beach in Sardinia, but I still liked it. I would say it’s perfect for when you want to have a relaxing day, and you want to go to a beach that is not too far away.

The beach was stunningly beautiful, with clear water and amazing views. Though it was windy, it was still enjoyable. However, be cautious of jellyfish — I had the unfortunate experience of a small sting myself.
